About Commerce Games 2013
Ryerson Commerce Games 2013 is….
Commerce Games is an event where all four programs, Business Technology Management (BTM), Business Management (BM), Retail Management (RM), and Hospitality and Tourism Management (HTM) compete against each other in a series of events to see which school is better at social events & activities and to promote interaction and interest between the different programs within Ted Rogers School of Management (TRSM).
The event will take place on March 2, 2013 over the entire campus to see which commerce program will win the Ted Rogers Cup, which was won by BTM Students Team last year.
Each of the following course unions will be required to recruit one team to represent their program(s) in the competition. These ten teams (1 team per major) will compete against each other in brackets in a series of 5 different events.
- ITMSA: BTM Students Team
- RSA: Retail Students Team
- HTMSA: HTM Students Team
- RUAS: Accounting Students Team
- HRSA: Human Resources Students Team
- RMA: Marketing Students Team
- LBSA: Law Students Team
- RUFS: Finance Students Team
- RGMG: Global Management Students Team
- SIFE: Entrepreneur Students Team
This year’s events are:
- Basketball
- Dodgeball
- Master Piece Game
There will be opening ceremonies and closing ceremonies as well.
